I do believe in a measure of calculated risks for raising kids a bit more free range style. There isn’t a measure of letting kids try things as much, or learn to work things out themselves before we intervene. Granted, sometimes acheter cialiswe do need to intervene. But I think it is o.k. to get a skinned knee here or there as kids learn to test their limits, grow strong, or solve a problem with a peer. I’m always there with a band-aid or hugs with affirmation.

I try to honor each child’s individual nature while opening them to new experiences they might enjoy. This morning brought hill riding, finding frogs and rock hopping. We had a minor misadventure as Luke tossed his sandal in the mini-waterfall to see how it would float. One soggy Mama later we had rescued our sandal from certain waterfall death.We had snack on rocks, tossed pebbles and mucked about in the marsh hoping to see more frogs and tadpoles . Bees were spotted and numerous butterflies identified. Our walk took us by train tracks where we got to see two freight trains click-clack on by, good stuff for little boys!Hum, I do wish they made big wheels big enough for grown-ups. We love our bikes, but you just can’t beat the low rider action for hills on the big wheel. Mama would be speeding down the hill too.
