Debate Night Open Thread!
Nobody wants to bother with the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann on a Big Night like this. So instead of a recappers’ thread, here’s a debate night open thread. Festivities begin at 9:00 pm Eastern, but of course there will be contributions beamed in from OlbyPlanet. In fact, two separate Hours of Spin, one before and one after the debate.
For the main event, you’ll have the Wolf pack on CNN, Brit and the gang on Fixed News [Ding!], and MSNBC? Well, since MSLSD has a new policy against using its partisan web-spinners as political anchors, David Gregory (now that’s really a change!) will do the honors for them. Yes, only real reporters anchor political events on A-Mess-NBC. Except when they let a failed Err America comedian anchor them, that is. Good ol’ Madcow. She’s no journalist, but she does play one on tv.
So here’s your open thread for tonight’s fun and games. If you do happen to watch MSDNC, feel free to post any Oralmann howlers/whoppers/lies you catch. Maybe you’ll catch him popping a vein over MSNBC caving in to pressure from the eeevil Bill O’Reilly. Oh wait, Bathtub Boy never criticizes his corporate masters (that’s why his manhood quotient is always in negative terrority). So much for that.
Tonight, we won’t blame you if you pass up Keith “Man on Fan” Olbermann in favor of real journalism, fair and balanced. Whatever channel you choose, this thread is your water cooler for The Big Night. Comments are open!
