California election polls

VOTE!

So the day is finally here. After two years of campaigning, what feels more like an era of our history than an election is drawing to a close. Many of us started this with a primitive buy Levaquin understanding of the process and now could talk for hours about sampling errors, undecided voters, GOTV, caucus votes vs. direct votes, tipping points and message control. My eyes water from all the polls I’ve read in the past 48 hours.

But there’s only one poll that counts.

So ignore the polls. Ignore the talking TV heads. Ignore the yard signs and multicolored maps. Above all ignore the horrifically unscientific and unethical leaking of exit polls. If you haven’t already, go out and vote. If you’re a Republican in California, go vote. If you’re a Democrat in Georgia, go vote. If the line is long, wait. If you’re young and healthy, let someone old and sick go in front of you. If you’re an employer, cut your employees some slack for the long lines. If you’re a student, classes can wait for one day; drag your roommates out of bed and go vote.

No pundit is more important than the ballot you put in the box, exercise your power.
