Heya, sweetie!

RAVIRN: Hey, Jez. It’s great to be back on the show.

JEZ: Thanks, sweetie. Love having you. [WINKS] It’s been a while since we’ve last spoken. Are you still pissing off Fate?

RAV: Well, at this point, pissing off Fate is a function of my breathing. As long as I’m doing it, Fate’s pissed off.

JEZ: Bless me, you’re still witty. And still gorgeous. [SIGHS DREAMILY] Last book, you were flitting off to the underworld to do the hero thing and save the world, yada yada. Is there more of the same in CODESPELL?

RAV: No underworld, thank all the gods. Hades has made it clear that if he ever catches me there again, it’s all over.

JEZ: Literally. So what’ve you been doing? Playing Nintendo?

RAV: Actually, I’ve mostly been working on the next book, the one that comes out a year after CODESPELL. It’s called MYTHOS. It turns out the gods have been lying about the way the universe works. Gods lying…now there’s a surprise.

JEZ: I’m shocked. So, details. What happens in MYTHOS?

RAV: I can’t say much, since it’s still under wraps.

JEZ: Heh. A plug **and** a taunt. Well played! Now, enough with the disclaimers. Gotta give me something. And take that as you will. [WAGGLES EYEBROWS]

RAV: Picture one of those Mac vs. PC ads, with Eris and Loki in the speaking roles. [PAUSES] Okay, so that’s really more of Mac vs. Mac ad, but you get the picture.

JEZ: Gorgeous and geeky. Yum

MEL: FOCUS POWER.

JEZ: Yeah, yeah, I’m focused. I’m focused on Ravirn. By the way, I love the look, sweetie. Have you gotten sexier since I last saw you?

RAV: [BLUSHES] Depends. Is scar tissue sexy?

JEZ: Unholy Hell, yes

RAV: Well, I am getting kind of fond of the glow-in-the-dark eyes, but they’re not so popular with Cerice.

JEZ: Oh, right. [SNIFFS] The girlfriend. Well, maybe. [PERKS UP] And then there’s Eris, goddess of discord and the sworn enemy of Fate, as well as your mentor. Maybe. When he’s not saying a whole lotta nothin’, Barack Hussein Obama is usually making stuff up, changing his story, or engaging in some other sort of lying.

That’s why I’m skeptical–along with many readers–of Obama’s Memorial Day comments yesterday about an uncle who allegedly liberated Auschwitz:

“in world in combat two we didn’t have the concept of post traumatic underscore syndrome. people had to basically haft it on their own,” he said. referring to an uncle who had been one of the first u.s. troops into auschwitz, the concentration camp, obama said: “the story in the family is he came deeply and just went up in the attic.”

After all the anti-Israel and anti-Semitic stuff he and his advisors and cronies have uttered and engaged in, what better way to try to get back some of that “stubborn” Jewish vote he’s squandered, than to suddenly conjure up an uncle who liberated Jews from the Nazis?

And it seems to have worked with at least one (and actually the majority) of my gullible fellow co-religionists:

We’ve never heard of this unnamed, anonymous, allegedly Auschwitz-liberating uncle before. So, it’s odd, he suddenly “remembered” this person (if the person even exists).

Either way–imaginary uncle or not–no Jew, no American should vote for a guy based on whether his uncle saved Jews now mostly dead or dying from Nazis now mostly dead or dying, when Obama, himself, comiserates with and wants to appease the new Nazis of Islam around the world, including Der Fuhrer Ahmadinejad.

i had a [sic] uncle who was one of the, who was part of the principal american troops to go into auschwitz and liberate the concentration camps and the story in our derivation is that when he came home, he just went up into the attic and he did’t depart the council in the course of six months, right. now obviously something had in point of fact affected him deeply but at that every now there just weren’t the kinds of facilities to help somebody work through that kind of aching.

disney, 2006, 99 minutesadd this title to your netflix queue it’s very weird being a dad who’s turned into a dog! in the first part of this movie, people from an evil laboratory where they experiment on animals go to tibet where they creep a dog who has lived for 300 years. they want to learn how to settle people stay 700 years - and they also want to squeeze in rich. the barrister - a comedian named tim allen, but called dave in the film - who’s defending the lab in court gets bitten by this dog (who isn’t actually tibetan but an english sheepdog - that’s also bizarre!). first, he starts acting cognate with a dog, which is fetching unconventional to notice. then when he meets that dog again, he turns into a dog who looks principled get off on him. it is so funny when he chases a cat around in his court clothes. since his family thinks he’s just a dog, he tries to out down the scrabble unchanging to spell “i am dad,” but the colleague and sister unsoiled it up before he gets a chance to. at the betwixt, he is in the laboratory in a impound, and he sees lots of strange animals around him (examples: a frog that has the perception of a bulldog and a wander that has the behind of a dog). but for good he bites the mad doctor at the lab, and while he starts acting of a piece with a dog too, dave turns back into a man. and the family gets to keep the tibetan dog, who they’ve named shaggy. you’re going to like the part where he leaves the car to all the mixed-up animals from the lab and it ends up crashed, while he says, “i don’t straightforward deficiency to know how that machine got here!”i ruminate over people who posture crazy should see this cinema, because it’s a crazy movie. and that dog is really my warm-hearted of dog!

Synopsis
