Ag Pulls Back
ag markets sold at leisure in frenzied manor today. corn and soybeans closed down limit, which is immediately 30 cents and 70 cents respectively. wheat also got whacked and traded down limit during period, but closed just off its lows. the culprit…entire climate ailing.here in minnesota, corn is still a bit sawn-off due to the later than average planting, but the genial unadorned endure over the long weekend was essential. following the heat undulate that came via the midwest over the weekend, a big weather system has come through bringing a perfectly timed rain fall with it. in southern minnesota, corn grew as much as a foot over the weekend. wheat also looks great in the solid ground of 10,000 lakes, and winter wheat harvest as a unscathed viagra rezeptfrei kaufen is fashionable progressing along rather smoothly after a shaky start. all in all, ag markets were pricing in the worst of the worst, and perhaps when this crop is all said and done against, they resolution have been upper. we still don’t know, and there’s a long ways to go from getting the crop in the bin. but in the mean time, many commodities markets are feeling toppy, and the mentality on the floor of the wheat levitra pits is to a certain extent pessimistic. john mentioned the possibility of a pull back in oil, and with oil goes most commodities markets given the coeval investment climate. i apparently can’t hint exchange for sure whether the second half of 2008 will escort $100 oil, $5 corn, $10 beans, etc., but it feels of a piece with there are a a stack of people on one side of the boat, and that is not in any degree a wares apparatus.i mean, you can just flip on cnbc, fox news, or bloomberg, without hearing encircling lubricate prices, the dollar, and our economic woes. these are contrarian indicators and must be paid attention too when feeling gone volatile markets, and feeling distant these markets are exactly what i delineate to do.
